Born on the second of August 1961, Corry comes from a family of artists. As a young man he studied art in high school and then attended the Peter Millard School of art. He was commissioned by financial groups such as First National Bank and West Bank to create artworks for them. He also did many one-man exhibitions throughout his career. Corry loves to work in vibrant colours and prefers to use a palate knife to create movement and appeal. One of his favourite scenes is that of the Cape Malayan District and harbour scenes.
